Everyone does something stupid once in a while… but this was really, really dumb!
Since I’ll be using a Tune-o-matic bridge, the neck needs to be angled down from the body. I do this by shaving off the required amount from the heel. Well, I did that… but you can see where I went wrong?
This is going to give a neck going upwards from the body. Doh!
Need to fix it…

Araz,I am subscribed and I downloaded the E-Book -The Book Of Guitar Building Jigs & Tools in PDF Then I did the same deal on one of my necks………So I am trying to download “The Book Of Guitar Building Jigs & Plans”..But it wont let me,it says I’m a subscriber, but wont download for me.
On another note, you are a hell of a nice guy to put all this info for those of us that should be starting with building guitars for retards !!! I’m an average woodworker with all the tools. I’m handicapped, and could no longer do drywall (lost the use of my legs) and I had a beautiful SG Supreme…but had to sell it to get my 13 year old son a nice birthday gift, and then Christmas,as Codys b-day is dec 21st
I want to recreate that SG supreme so bad,and I have a really bad time with the neck.
Anyway,THANK YOU for all the time u put in to help all of us !!!
Hi Norman, When you first subscribed, you received an email with the link to the PDF ebook. You can re-open that PDF from that email, I recommend you save the PDF on your computer. If you don’t see the email, check the SPAM folder of your email system, if you still can’t find, let me know and I’ll resend it to you.
Good luck with the SG Supreme.
